What we employ for the impeller is a black, soft natural rubber. It has superior erosion resistance to all other materials in fine partice slurry applications. The antioxidants and antidegradents used in this rubber have been optimized to improve storage life and reduce degradation during use. The high erosion resistance is provided by the combination of its high resiliencem high tensile strength and low shore hardness. 

1.Applications:

The Impeller is one of the most important part of slurry pump. When impeller is rotating, the slurry pump could meet the requirements of the equipment. However, it is a component which is worn out very easily. Therefore, for long service life of the impeller, the material plays an important role here.

2.Materials:

SME Slurry Pump Company offers two solutions for the problem of long service life. We choose the high chrome (Cr26) for the strong abrasive slurries with sharp particles. For the corrosive slurries with blunt particles, we recommend the natural rubber.
